Operation Paws for Homes
On occasion, a dog in need of some help finding their happily-furever-after finds their way to Show Me Your Dog. Below you will find the pups with whom we are currently sharing our homes until the right home comes along. All SMYD foster dogs come with free private lessons for the first 6 months of life with their new family and free group basic obedience class for life! If you think you might be the right match for one of these lovely pups, please contact us for more information!

Lenny is a young adult Catahoula mix. He was not getting along well with the dogs in his previous home, though he has blossomed into a lovely boy who plays well with the other dogs in daycare under supervision. He does like to play rough and tumble! Lenny is smart as a whip and has a great time learning new tricks. He excelled through his basic obedience program; he knows how to heel, sit/stay, down/stay, go to place/bed stay, and he has a recall foundation. Lenny would love a family that keeps his mind active!
Lenny is VERY interested in cats and we would recommend that he go to a home without cats or other small animals who may not enjoy being chased (and caught). Really, he would love to have all the love and cuddles to himself and would prefer not to live with another furry family member, though he enjoys their company in supervised social sessions (as mentioned above).
Lenny's adoption will include training support for his life through private lessons, group classes, etc. Contact us if you think Len might be a good fit for you!
